Barrett and Sam have been matched for just over 2,5 years with Sam waiting almost 6 years for a Big Brother from the time he enrolled! They both agree their friendship was worth the wait 🙂 They describe each other as family and together got to experience welcome a new addition when Barrett and his wife had a baby this summer. Although they had to wait to meet in-person due to COVID-19, Sam has eagerly stepped into his own big brother role with both Barrett’s daughters. Barrett shared “We are both so outgoing and willing to try new things with one another. He’s like a little brother I never had growing up. Always wanting to help and always up for an adventure. He’s one cool dude.” They enjoy the lake, laughing, and find adventure in anything they do together.
